The J/70 and Melges 24 classes are set to feature in this exciting winter racing line-up in Miami, kicking off with the Bacardi Invitational Winter Series and culminating in the renowned Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta on April 2–4, 2027.
Hosted between Shake-A-Leg Miami and Coconut Grove Sailing Club, the first race weekend of the Bacardi Winter Series will take place on January 22–24, 2027, followed by the next round on February 19–21, 2027.
After racing each day, the venerable Bacardi rum brand—locally headquartered and long regarded as the “king of hospitality,” having sponsored the Bacardi Cup since its inception—will welcome competitors each evening with great food, music, and, of course, plenty of Bacardi rum. These nightly gatherings ensure the fun continues well beyond the finish line, as teams and supporters unwind shoreside and relive the day’s racing highs and lows.
The series will conclude with the Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta on April 1–3, 2027, featuring racing for the J/70, Melges 24, VX One, and Snipe classes.
